Cynthia's works have been developed by KUSC Radio, Colony Theatre, 24th Street Theatre, California International Theatre Festival and Theatricum Botanicum in Los Angeles; Stage Left Studio in New York City ; and Herrenhaus Edenkoben in Germany.
She is the recipient of the Jerome Lawrence Playwriting Fellowship, Phi Kappa Phi creative achievement medal and Conquest Essay Prize.
Her operas include El Canguro, with Berlin Opera Prize winner Mike von der Nahmer.
Her musicals include Loving the Silent Tears, composed and performed by winners of 15 Grammys, 4 Oscars, 3 Tonys and 6 Emmys; At Home in Mitford, with Chana Wise and Emmy winner Carl Johnson; and The Rightful Monarch of America, with Johnson and Tony winner Jeff Marx.
Her video songbook with Jerry Ranger includes Shermania!, produced for Disney's sold-out Destination: D.
Cynthia holds a Master of Professional Writing from USC and has taught as a professor at Pepperdine University. She is a member of ASCAP and is published by the Arts & Letters Journal of Contemporary Culture and Doubleday NY.
