When Alex Hutchinson read my Ce Banc aloud in St. Paul de Vence, the gathering of international writers laughed so hard they howled. Never could I have delivered the dual language short story with his deadpan humor (not to mention his multilingual mastery). Ce Banc, from my Spliced series, tells a tale of trickery in the parking lot of home supply store. As the plot goes, the story morphs from English to French, and magically, not a word is lost -even for those who don't speak a lick of la langue française.
