A Hour Outside of Atlanta, Elves Load Santa's Sleigh Via Teeterboard

How do you create Santa's Workshop in the Georgia woods? Start with the nighttime and then - just think "Christmas." Thousands of tiny lights, animated frames, original music and a trolley load of fun went into my creation for Callaway Gardens' annual Fantasy in Lights. Just past the Workshop's entrance, Mrs. Claus plays fiddle with a country band while pots on the stove boil over. Elves chisel, saw and spray paint toys. Rudolph assembles bicycles. Loading the sleigh verges on catastrophe. And where's Santa during all this? Making his Iist, of course. Fantasy in Lights stretches eight miles - one spectacular scene after another emerging from the darkness. The effect is so glorious that National Geographic named it among the top ten light shows in the world.
